The third element of our customer value-focused approach is operational excellence. That means doing what you say you will do – on time, to the specifications, and on budget (or better). In the defense and space market this requires a variety of things:

At EMS defense and space systems we incorporate all of these elements in our operational excellence program. For example, we have ISO-certified processes, PMI-benchmarked and trained program managers, and SEA-trained lean manufacturing techniques. Our microelectronics capability is DESI-certified for space. Our system life cycle process has been recognized by NASA, and we routinely pass rigorous defense and space audits with zero non-conformances. Our risk management process is designed for high technology systems. We are cleared for classified defense work, and our business systems are industry proven and recognized.
This level of maturity comes from experience and a commitment to operational excellence.
